Why Canada is a top study abroad destination in 2023?

According to the latest announcement from the Government, international students in Canada are allowed to work up to 20 hours/week during study time and 30 hours/week full-time during vacations.
Currently, Canada is applying an unlimited working time policy for international students from November 15, 2022 to December 31, 2023 and this will continue to be extended.

Qualifications from Canadian institutions are internationally recognized. Canadian universities consistently have high rank in global university rankings.

Canada offers a variety of study programs as well as majors for international students to have the opportunity to choose the program that is right for them.
The Canadian education system includes public and private schools from Kindergarten to Undergraduate & Graduate.

REASONABLE COST

The average annual tuition fee for an international student to earn a bachelor's degree is around 20,000-35,000 CAD/year
- Tuition fees at educational institutions in less populated areas will be lower than in densely populated areas. In particular, this does not affect the quality of education in Canadian schools.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMMIGRATION

Canada has many programs to encourage international students to move to permanent residence after completing their studies. Some options like the Post-graduation work permit allow graduates to stay and work, providing the opportunity for them to gain more Canadian work experience.

LATEST UPDATE ON STUDENT DIRECT STREAM (SDS)

As of August 10, 2023 Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is incorporating four newly approved English language tests for SDS student applicants include: CELPIP, CAEL, PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT. A great change for IELTS test, candidates will only have to get a score of 6.0 overall. There is no set score for individual tests.
